品质工程

品质工程英语:Quality Engineering),由日本学者田口玄一创始的工程方法,以统计学的方式来进行实验及生产过程管控[1],达到产品品质改善及成本降低的双重目的,也应用在生物学[2]、行销及广告[3] 。专业统计学家认同品质工程的目标及带来的进步.特别是品质工程对于变异的研究,但认为品质工程中一些建议的作法不具有效性英语efficiency (statistics)

为了表示对发明者的尊崇,它也被称为是田口式品质工程Taguchi Quality Engineering),或是田口方法Taguchi Methods)。它是目前为了达到稳健设计中最著名的方法学,因而也被称为田口式稳健设计方法Taguchi Methods of Robust Design)。

品质工程包括了三个和统计学有关的原则:

应用

田口氏的品质工程在统计学及工程学上都有很大的贡献。田口氏强调社会损失、观测实验中变异的技术,及对于系统、参数及公差设计的策略都在各地的制造品质提升上有帮助[4]。虽然品质工程中的一些统计方法是有争议的,但品质工程广为应用在各种制程则是没有争议的。找一下相关的期刊和网页,可以看出品质工程已成功的应用在许多的领域,包括VLSI设计、通讯及信息网络的最佳化设计、电子电路的设计、光罩的激光雕刻、银行的金流最佳化、政府的政策订定、机场跑道的利用率、甚至是稳健的环保设计[5]
